广州市商务局25日公布，今年上半年，广州利用外资稳中向好，新设外商投资企业、合同外资、实际使用外资均明显增长，先进制造业投资实现较快增长。

上半年，广州市新设立外商直接投资企业1686家；合同外资128.12亿美元，同比增长14.1%；实际使用外资41.37亿美元，同比增长8.2%。

从投资行业看，广州制造业利用外资占比提高：1至6月，全市制造业新设外商投资企业55家，实际使用外资10.10亿美元，占比24.4%。

从规模来看，大项目较多：投资总额超过5000万美元的项目65个，占全市合同外资近七成；实际投资超5000万美元的有15个，占全市实际外资的近八成。

从投资来源地看，实际使用外资主要来源于香港，而“一带一路”沿线国家和地区在穗实际投资2.52亿美元，同比增长38.3%。

广州市商务局方面特别提及，广东自贸区南沙新区片区和广州三个国家级开发区(广州经济技术开发区、增城经济技术开发区、南沙经济技术开发区)已成为广州利用外资的新增长极。

据介绍，今年1至6月，广东自贸区南沙新区片区和三个国家级经开区实际使用外资合计28.60亿美元，占全市比重达到69.1%。

接下来，广州将致力于加强产业链招商，形成更多百亿级、千亿级的产业集群，促进集成电路、高清新型显示、5G等产业集聚；同时完善全市产业招商地图，统筹全市资源开展招商推介；支持有关机构筹建楼宇经济促进会，拓展商务写字楼招商资源。

In the first half of the year, 1686 new foreign direct investment enterprises were set up in Guangzhou, with contractual foreign investment of US$128.12 billion, an increase of 14.1% over the same period last year, and the actual use of foreign investment of US$4.137 billion, an increase of 8.2% over the same period last year.

From the perspective of investment industry, the proportion of foreign investment in Guangzhou's manufacturing industry has increased: from January to June, 55 new foreign-invested enterprises were set up in Guangzhou's manufacturing industry, and the actual use of foreign investment amounted to US$1.010 billion, accounting for 24.4%.

In terms of scale, there are more large projects: 65 projects with total investment of more than 50 million US dollars, accounting for nearly 70% of the total contractual foreign investment in the city; 15 projects with actual investment of more than 50 million US dollars, accounting for nearly 80% of the actual foreign investment in the city.

From the source of investment, the actual use of foreign capital mainly came from Hongkong, and the countries and regions along the "one belt and one road" actually invested 252 million US dollars in the real estate market, an increase of 38.3% over the same period last year.


Guangzhou Business Bureau mentioned in particular that Nansha New Zone of Guangdong Free Trade Zone and three national development zones of Guangzhou (Guangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, Zengcheng Economic and Technological Development Zone and Nansha Economic and Technological Development Zone) have become new growth poles for Guangzhou to utilize foreign capital.

According to reports, from January to June this year, the actual use of foreign capital in Nansha New Area of Guangdong Free Trade Zone and three national economic development zones totaled 2.86 billion US dollars, accounting for 69.1% of the city.

Next, Guangzhou will devote itself to strengthening investment promotion in the industrial chain, forming more industrial clusters of 10 billion and 100 billion levels, promoting industrial agglomeration such as integrated circuit, high definition new display, 5G, etc. At the same time, it will improve the city's industrial investment map, coordinate the resources of the whole city to carry out investment promotion, and support relevant institutions to prepare for Building Economic Promotion Association and expand it.
