Foreigners applying for permanent residence in China,they should abide by Chinese laws, be in good health,no criminal record, and in one of the following conditions:

1.Investment directly in China, stable investment for three consecutive years with good tax record.

2.Worked as vice general manager, vice-director,etc, or associate professors, associate researchers, etc and has served for four consecutive years,and has accumulated no less than three years for the residence in China and the tax record is good.

3.The spouse of the above person and their unmarried children under the age of 18 years.

4.The spouse of Chinese citizen or foreigners who have obtained permanent residency status in China, the marriage relationship lasts for five years,and the foreigner has been in China for five consecutive years,and the residing shall not be less than nine months in China each year and having a stable living and residence.

5.Unmarried children under the age of 18 who take refuge in their parents.

6.A person more than sixty without an immediate family abroad and takes refuge in immediate relatives, who has been in China for five consecutive years and residing shall not be less than nine months in China each year and having a stable living and residence.
